We went to the range last week! Oh that was sooooo much fun! Fired about a 1000 rounds! Love that stuff! Everyone qualified, even though it was pouring rain! Enjoyed the shotgun the best! 'Cept dang, my shoulder hurts from those slugs!! (yes, I know big WHAHHH....LOL). I hope any that are considering attending the Academy, that read these posts, charge forward and GO FOR IT!! Its awesome! Tuesday and today (Thursday), we ran about 5 miles......UGHHHHH (BIG WHAHHHH this time!!)
Guess those two weeks off from PT kinda kicked all of us in the booty, and we got soft! SOME ADVICE: DO NOT STOP RUNNING IF YOU HAVE A BREAK..it'll come back to haunt ya!! Well 4 weeks left to graduation...has gone by to quick....
Tomorrow is ASP training and qualification! Should be awesome!! Tell later all...Keep your head up!!

Glad you are enjoying yourself, and hope you feel the same level of motivation and enthusiasm for a long time to come ! As far as the physical conditioning - stay in shape and don't get soft after getting out of the academy.

Good Luck the rest of the way !

Well, it sounds like that you are having tons of fun. And what an acomplishment. Just think way back to week one when you were unsure of what to expect and how to act. Now you are a pro.

Just a little advise for ya in ASP training, don't look at your scabber when "holstering" your ASP, and when extending your ASP don't let it fly out of your hand, or the instructor will hand you your head on a platter, or he may kick you in the butt so hard that you'll be able to taste his shoelaces for weeks! LOL.

Good luck, and best wishes,

Good grief.....I DID DROP my ASP...OOPS, that was 100 push-ups! My hands got so sweaty, it flew out when I drew it! LOL!
Wow, talk about some realistic, awesome training! Our Instructers put on the red man suits, and we went one on one!
I have a new healthy respect for them! That was hard on them!Only 2 of them and 40 of us! Not once did they waiver in pursuit, for 2 hours! I tell you! When we were done and they took the suits off, they looked like they took a shower with their clothes on!
The people in my class really suprised me to! Some of my female friends did so good, they beat out the males! They really impressed me! I tell ya, it really was a sight to see! They were spectacular!! No wonder guys love football so much! The adrenaline was pumping!
This stuff just gets funnier every week!

Stay safe,
