the call came today regarding my transfer.
i have been offered a position with the
Department of The Navy as a GS-0083 -Police Officer
at Little Creek Amphibase in Norfolk, VA.
i decided to go with this position and withdraw from three other
department processes, do to the fact that i was offered a better than average starting salary (for this agency), and after researching this position i found that Virginia State Code does in fact recongnize these officers as Police Officers, officially.
thank you to all the members of the board who have provided me with a wealth of information regarding my search for a new agency. hopefully this will be one big stop on the journey that is my law enforcement career.
