I'm looking at getting a new duty belt and underbelt for my uniform. They have to be basket weave. I wanna get a sam browne belt again, anyone have any good experiences with velcrow?

I am currently using a Safariland Velco Belt. It provides outstanding support for duty equipment since it sticks extremely well to the loops of the Velcro belt.
However, the hook side of the Velcro trouser belt may have a tendancy to wear away some areas of the duty trousers that it is inadvertanty exposed to. This will usually happen if the inner belt is not fitted properly.
I have also put holes in the arms of my shirts because I have bad habit not to ensure that the pocket flap is fully closed. The hook rubs against the material and before you know it, a hole develops.
I'm using the Bianchi Accumold Elite line. All the conveniences of nylon with the look of leather. Very light, great scuff resistance, and easy to take care of. All of the major gear distributors carry it. HTH.
I've only used velcro belts, but I love them. They do eat away at your uniform is the underbelt is the hook side. My new belt has the hook side on the gun belt and I haven't noticed any issues with it eating my uniforms.
