View Full Version : Planes Crash Into World Trade Center and Pentagon
I'm sure some of you have to be watching this too.....but it seems that two planes have crashed into the World Trade Center, one of the planes was reported to have been hijacked out of Boston. One of the towers just collapsed.
And another plane crashed into the Pentagon. That hasn't been confirmed yet...but a fire is confirmed at the Pentagon and witnesses reported seeing a plane go down in the vicinity.
What the hell. I was asleep and got woken up I am at a loss for words. Somebody is gonna have to pay for this.
They confirmed that three planes have been hijacked. Two commercial planes out of Boston, and a small two engine plane from down south.
Any word on injuries due to the collapse?? There had to be Cops, FF, and EMTs down there.
The second tower just collapsed and they confirmed that a car bomb exploded at the State Dept.
We need to respond quickly and extremely harshly. F*ck this touchy feely foreign policy. Tell Afghanistan to turn over Bin Laden, or we turn their country into a missile testing ground.:bazooka: :bazooka:
Another crash outside of Pittsburgh??? That one I might be going to.

Yeah...I'm getting ready. I belong to a Search and Rescue group that sometimes works alongside PA-TF1, so I expect to get called out if it gets worse (God Forbid).

:mad: How I so much wish I was out there as an LEO!! I wish I could do something to help, donate blood- anything. I live in San Diego- so I guess donating blood would be unrealistic. How I wish the Corps would take be back! I'm ready, if only they would let me back in! I'd leave everything here behind- wife, job, LE hopes- everything and anything to give a helping hand if worst comes to worst! God bless, and everyone please be safe out there!! What a horrible day this has become. I never thought I would see something so horrible. Watching those buildings fall was the worst thing I have ever seen. I just think of all the people in the planes also. Does anyone know if Pappi is okay? Many brave people went into that building and some have not come out. I hope he was not one of them.

I couldn't believe what I saw and heard on the TV today. The attack on the US is a scary thought (reality now).
I truly feel sorry for those people that will and have lost thir lives do to the cowardly attack that happened. All I can say is that whoever did this has just signed the death warrant of a country.
Tis a good thing (I hope) that a republican is in office and hopefully justice will be served but it still won't make up for the thousands and thousands of lives that will be lost. I was watching the news about the first plane hitting the World Trade Center this morning and watched as the second hit the other tower. It was a empty moment as you can watch something in awe and feel so helpless at the same time.

my thoughts and prayers are with all the families of those who were involved in today's horrible act of violence against our country. it made me sick to my stomach watching the twin towers in flames and watching a second plane flying into it, and people jumping to their deaths from stories above, it made me cry...may god be with you all:(

Whoever is responsible for this unGodly act of destruction, needs to be dealt with quickly, and without prejudice. In other words, he, she, it, whoever it is, needs to have a gun put to their head, and shot. This is simply unbelievable. How the hell did these people get on the planes, much less take them over? I assume that they needed weapons to hijack those things. I don't know if this was an act of war, but war may be necessary to put the kibosh on these sons of bitches. God have mercy on them, because I sure as hell won't!
God be with the families and civil service workers on the scene. They will need every prayer.
God also be with my brethren, the soldiers of the Special Operations Command. I have full faith that they will be tasked with destroying this putrid, cowardly group of sons-of-bitches who have chosen to bring this terror upon our people. They are nothing but a bunch of fucking mindless followers, willing to give their lives to ensure the death of thousands; all of them puppets to a modern day psychopath. To fight a terrorist you have to use terrorist tactics. A prior Marine and my brothers should understnad, "Seek out, close with, and destory the target".
Future I agree will your brother; however, it is time to get mid-evil on there ass.
I pray for those who were killed, for those who were injured or for those who have lost. I wish those the best who are out their busting their ass to help and doing their jobs. I stand behind our government 100%, and I think its great to see everyone put aside their differences, to say hey "no one comes into our house and pushes us around!!!!"

I sure hope PapiMike is OK, If he is we probably wont hear from him in a while because he will be so busy... My heart goes out to all and their families. It something like this that makes me motivated enough to drop all my college courses and visit the recruiter. Im 18 and pumped to go give who ever did this a taste of the Marine Corps.
I have been watching the news since 9am this morning and am sickened by what I witnessed.
A news channel just reported that when the 1st tower collasped there was over 200 fire fighters and LEO's in there. None have been found.
A man frrom my home town was also just on. He was on the 24th floor He said after the intitial explosion he went to open a door and saw the plane crashing thru the floors and burning bodies following.
The footage of people hanging out of the tower windows, then the building collaspsing is really disturbing.
My daughter said at school today they were al called into the gym and told the news. She said a 6tth gr girl jumped screaming that her mom worked there and she needed a phone. My daughter age 11, is shooken.
I pray for all involved and their families. I also hope that our fellow members (pappimike, GID, NYS, ect...) are all OK!

I live in hudson county, nj...approx 11-15 miles away from manhatten...I attent St. Peters College and at about 9am or so we heard the plane crash....all I remember is a loud boom....it was sick and it was scary and to hear that they got the pentagon...OMG...I could not believe that...this is much worse than pearl harbor and we lost a lot of people...it is a sad day in american history...that MF'er finally got what he wanted and that was the WTC to fall to the ground....I am a firefighter in Secaucus, NJ and we were on standbye just in case we had to cover for Jersey City or any other area that had gone into NYC....We should go over there and incinerate those f**kers....I am furious and was crushed to hear all of this....this is supposed to be the land of democracy and the land of the free and home of the brave....we gotta do something....over 100+ cops and firefighters from lower manhatten are missing...my company and I are looking to goto NYC to help in the search and rescue if they ask for volunteers.....I am appalled and I feel justice should be brought quick but not swift...let them suffer....:mad:

i live about 15 minutes away from where this happened in new jersey, i could see the clouds of smoke from my house and hear the sirens just continuously ringing, i have been watching the tv since 9 am since this happened, and i count my blessings because i believe i have an angel watching out for me as i was supposed to go down to the twin towers this morning and i decided against it. it could have been me...i know many nypd and nyfd people, and now they just gave an estimation of 200 firefighters and 80 police officers missing and presumed dead, do i know if any of the cops and firemen that i know, if they are okay, no i don't,
i have friends and family who work at the wtc, and thank god, they are all okay, they were able to get out, one of my closest friends arrived at work the exact moment that the second plane went into tower 2, all she saw was ny cops telling her to run, that they are being attacked, she is haunted by the things she saw today, it is like something out of a movie and unfortunately it is not, the people that jumped out as a last attempt to save themselves, i can only sit back and cry, when the towers collapsed, none of us can imagine being there, body parts flying and debris, i can only pray that we get justice for this, i refuse to allow anyone to get away with this coward act against the city and country that i live and love in.........may god be with those who are trapped and still alive, may you return to your families safely
I am sure everyone will eventually comment on this so I will go ahead and add my .02. I have tremendous pride in our country and I bleed red, white, and blue. A former Marine who if they would let me re-gain my status back if they call up my old reserve unit I would drive there right now and throw my cammies on and step on a plane headed to Afghanistan. I would like to say what I would do with these terrorists but I am afraid some of you would think I am some sort of sick bastard but I would go mid-evel on them. Screw the carpet bombings once we find out who did this, let them see the brothers and sisters of the American Armed Forces roll down their city streets in an M1A1 battle tank, American Flag waving tall!! I currently work for verizon and early in the am hundreds of us will be in the area to help get comunications up to all the ppl there that need em including all temporary hospital like areas throught the city. My prayers go out to all the familes involved in todays incident.
The saddness and anger I feel in my heart now is overwhelming. One of the sickest things I saw on TV today were the people, including women and children, on (I think) the West Bank cheering and celebrating the attacks on the US. The US has always taken care to minimize civilian casualties in any military operation. F--k 'em now. Target their f-en schools, the hospitals, the day care, see how they like it.
I pray America acts swiftly and strongly. This is not a time for diplomacy, this is war.
And for the most important of all-- The EMS, Fire, and Police who rushed to the scene, without regard for their own safety, to help others to safety. God be with their families. God be with us all.

First, let me offer my deepest sympathies to all the victims and there families on this most cowardly act. I pray for you all, and especially the police and firefighters in Manhatten dealing with this awful tragedy.
It is time to take the kid gloves off. I don't give a d*#m about world opinion. A little atom splitting should be the response once these cowardly scumbags are identified. No mercy! We need to turn them and the country harboring them into a glass factory and a parking lot.
I just heard that the van they apprehended did not have any explosives on it, but they are being held for questioning.

I was here at work when it happened. I was with a group of firemen from one of the FD's I dispatch for when the first tower collapsed. All they could think about were the firemen inside. Now I sit here in my center listening to F-15's flying over my towns because we are so close to Chicago. An eerie feeling to say the least. My prayers are with everyone involved. Hopefully this is the end and not the beginning. Also hopefully cooler heads will prevail and we will make sure we find the people that actually are responsible for this tragedy, not strike out blindly, so we can hit them hard. And let's not do it by resorting to blowing up their hospitals and schools. I'm an American not a terrorist. Let not sink down to their level. God Bless america...

My brother who works at world trade was late for work yesterday and arrived just in time to see the first impact from outside the building. He and his GF started running.
Thank god for miracles.
I called my recruiter for the FBI and told her since my BG is done im ready to help. Making coffee - copies whatever so the others can do the work. Ive got 2+ weeks of vacation.
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone.

The US atom bombed two of their cities, and they finally surrendered after that. I'm sorry to say, but this may be the only solution to creating a wake up call for these bastards. I hadn't even seen any footage about the devastation until I got home from work last night. I felt such rage and sadness at the same time, to just watch the second plane crash into the other tower! Then people plunging to their death- atrocious!! I heard a husband and wife held hands together and then jumped to their death together- SAD! I couldn't even sleep last night, for christ's sake. I am now constantly worried for my wife because she works on the fifteenth floor of the first national bank in downtown San Diego. What if these fuckers hijack a plane from San Diego's airport and decide to do this again? They may head for that building, which is the tallest one in downtown San Diego. I told her to just quite her job and go work for some other law firm where it's not in a building. She may do that too. I live right up from the CHP's El Cajon station and I noticed they closed the gates up and closed the office to everyone. They also placed a patrol car in front ofthe gates. All in all, these tragic events have greatly effected everyone's lives. I so much pray for all the victims involved, and I also pray for all the LEOs, EMTs and FFs who have lost their lives. They are doing all they can, and they ARE doing an outstanding job!! May God bless all of us and America, and everyone please be safe. I and my wife are going to donate blood tommorrow- it's the least we can do.

i was at ground zero last nite and to me it is totally amazing how thousands of strangers are working together to help out complete strangers burried under ruble. whatever ppl think about new yorkers being rude and all that has to see this. i am glad i am in nyc cause if anything ever happened to me or my family i know there are ppl in sec to come to our aid. God bless all the familes that lost loved ones, and all those who are helping to find the ones that are buried!!
Dan - I've been several times, but before it was 'ground zero'. In spite of all the really vivid pictures on TV, it just seems impossible that all of that lot could have come down.
God bless all those who are killed and injured and may He keep safe all those rescue workers - who are now having to work in mud because of the heavy rain.
