I understand that we are not allowed to sell merchandise on this forum. My question is if im looking for a particular firearm to purchase, would that be okay? Could a moderator please respond before i make my request. thanks

No. You need to do all buying and selling elsewhere. If you had a certain person from whom you wanted to buy, you could ask them, but we've always frowned on PM's along the lines of "I'm selling X...PM me if interested" - that's not much different from posting an ad.

Thanks for asking first, though - it's nice to see that level of courtesy.
