CNN reporting that 78 police and 200 firemen are dead.
This is at the trade center in NYC.

The whole incident is so severe I can't even begin to find the right words to type here. My prayers are with the families/friends of the victims and with all of the LE/Rescue workers that are dealing with this incident, particularly those who will be searching for the terrorist planners behind it all. GOD BLESS THEM ALL!

I was there this morning standing in front of 7 world trade watching the people dying and falling from all hights of the WTC. It was truely surreal. My hats off to all of the city personnel that were on the seen within in minutes. The whole thing is surreal once you realize how little you can do under the situation you feel so insignificant in the scheme of it all. We will triumph over this horrific incident and I hope we rebuilding the TOWERS just to say GODAMN YOU!! YOU CAN"T DEFEAT US!!

I live about 50 miles from where the jet crashed in Somerset County, PA. I, too, wish to send my thoughts and prayers with all the victims, families, emergency personnel that this horrific trajedy has touched.

I know as an LEO I am suppose to believe in the CJ system. However, I am not opposed to having these people responsible dragged out into the street and shot. We must make a stand and let the world know that a price will be paid. No arguements or negoitation and may the Lord have mercy on anyone who tries to stop us. My paryers and heart goes out to all the victims who lost friends and family. Our public servant brothers and sisters must stand strong right now, the citizens we serve will look to us for help. Had the oppurtunity to befriend a Jordanian this last year at college. Kid had nothing againist the US as a matter of fact he loves it here. But I dotn think I will ever meet someone with a depper hatred for the country of Israel. Blew me away to hear him talk like that, and to think that Jordan is one of Israel's so called middleast supporters. Anyway hard to believe haterd can extend to the point were innocents are killed cause of who there countries friends are, or at least have that be one of the larger reasons. Crazy shit, anyway my thoughts and prayers are with everyone out there working in NYC and are also with all those who lost there lives trying to save those of others.

I just received info from an officer in the NYC area. 54 police officers dead, 38 still MIA, and 27 firefighters dead, and another 300 or so missing. These are supposedly confirmed.:(
