First, I want to give my support and thoughts to all those officers who are involved in the recent tragedy in New York and the Pentagon. I have not been on the board recently, so this is my first chance to do so.
On a litter note, my department is sending me to an academy, starting 9/17! I work for a private college police force and I was only a "special police officer". After I finish the academy (Prince George's munical police academy) I will be a full Maryland certified officer. I still may not be exactly where I want to be, but this is a big step in the right direction. I want to thank everyone for all the great info I got off the board and wish everyone good luck!
