I recieved my offer today as a Deputy Sheriff. Needless to say, I sounded off with a loud and thunderous "Hell Yea" (joking, they would have sent me back for another psych test) I start the academy Oct 9th. I will start out assigned to corrections. This department has so many opportunities. This is truely a dream come true!

To all of you starting the process, in the process, or in the process again, KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!!!! It is an emotional rollercoaster at times. I assure you that the pay off is so sweet! Thank you to all of the members of this web site who post and reply. I have learned alot from reading your post. Thanks again and God Bless America!
