My two week notice is in at the University PD and I will be starting with the Saco Police Department here in Maine October 8th!!!

I got the word yesterday when I met with the Saco chief. It's official!! I have finaly landed my dream job! I go down thursday to get sworn in and receive my equipment and uniforms, and qualify with my duty weapon.

With my wifes and My first baby on the way in april and the new job. Things can't be going much better for me right now. Thank you everyone for your support on the boards! You folks are the best!

Thanks everyone! Sorry about not telling anyone I was going through the proccess. The proccess only took about a month and a half. I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off taking all the tests and everything. I didn't think it was going to happen this fast.. BUT I AM GLAD IT DID!

Plus I am a little super stisious and did not want to jinks myself too early in the proccess ;)

Thanks again everyone! Once I get started and settled in at Saco PD I plan on being on the board a lot more. My last shift at USM PD is this Tuesday night..... Drinks are on me!!!
