Be ready to spend 1-2 days doing everything there. You pretty much sit around forever and do some medical stuff, hearing, vision, talking with the head recruiter or whatever he is for the branch you are going into. Most of the day is waiting. As you will come to find out, "Hurry up and wait" is the motto for the military.

When I went to MEPS it took about 7 hours (6am - 1pm). There is all the medical exams and tests, some paperwork, and I was able to get sworn in. I was one of only a few from my branch (Army NG) so I think I was able to get through the day quicker than most. If you need to see a specialist, it could take all day or maybe a even second day. SP20 is right, a good 70%+ of the time is waiting.

Pretty much an all day event but with most of it spent on waiting. When I went through, it was your basic physical, vision, written tests, paperwork, and finally you get sworn in. You should also get a brown bag lunch.
