After being sound asleep this morning after working a 17 hour drug surveillence-buy bust....I hear that damn answering machine come on....Ann Ore leaves a mesage to call her back....
Well, I qucikly jumped out of the bed and called her....
She said US Customs wanted to offer me the GS-7 job and would attend the FLETC October 21st class.
She said I was assigned to the Miami SAC office and they, FLETC and HQ will be in contact with me.
She said HQ is mailing paper-work, FLETC and Miami SAC will be calling with info.
I am about to go the barber shop.....and cut ALL my long, long hair off and shave this damn beard and mustache.....and take these earings out....no more undercover vice look anymore!!!!!!!!! No more buying twenty dollar crack rocks!! I haven't had a clean face in 4 years!!...I might have to work in uniform one last time for old time's sake!!
I told my wife she would know when I got the job when she sees me with no hair!....will be dowloading Will's Smith song, "Goin' to Miami"...to let her know where we're going!!
Anyways, you guys that were right close to me in the process, dutch, Angelo....hopefully you'll be getting called soon for October.
I forgot to ask if the Octover 21st class was full....I guess not if she called me.....
