i guess split option 2,....last summer i did a 10 week "vacation" at fort jackson... i know mp ait is suppose to be that one station one whatever...like the infantry deal at benning...normally, it issuppose to be a total of 18 weeks.. but it is my understanding..ill just do the remaining 8 weeks( i know, get it writing...make sure my orders state so.)... so whats the lowdown?... thanks..

The MP school shouldn't be much of a problem. Since you've got the basic training out of the way, you'll find AIT a little more relaxed, but not much! The Military Police School has a website where you can gain alot of insight into the MP Corps and look at some of what Leonardwood has. It's an excellent source of informaiton.
Have a great day!

If you look for the Military Police Homepage, you should find it. I've had it as a favorite link for so long, I couldn't tell you the correct name.
Have a great day!

Texaslead-
With recent events, I'm not going to go into great detail about the training involved, but you'll only attend the 8 weeks since you completed the initial 10 weeks already.
In this phase you'll get the more MP specific training required.
I assume you've already gone through some sort of training and OJT while attending drill in the Reserves. If not, it's not a factor.
My advice to you is to get into shape prior to hitting the ground at leonard wood. Being in-shape will ease the transition coming into a unit that has been training with each other for 10 weeks.

As far as the MP website, it's down right now...they're assessing the content of the website since the terrorist attack. Should be up soon.
