More State Police Questions =)

Anybody have any idea what type of scheduling the CHP uses? About a few months ago I was watching the LA news channels and they were talking about this Organization that was forming to help PD's in many different ways. One of these ways were getting on a 3 days on 4 days off deal. I was just wondering if any agency in the Southern Cal. area has adopted this yet, and also the CHP? Sorry for the questions, I'm just trying to narrow down some agencies so I can put most of my focus towards them. Thanks to all who have answered my questions in the past.

Your questions are pretty agency specific. I would suggest a quick call to the local CHP division recruiter or a recruiter to the agencies that you are interested in. They are always interested in speaking to qualified individuals and they can answer your questions better than we could here. (Unless we have some CHiP's still floating around the board)

If scheduling is a major consideratoin for you, at least you would know who may be able to accomodate you. Keep in mind that larger agencies and state agencies may have Troopers/Officers that work one schedule in the rural areas and another schedule in the cities.
