Anyone know where to buy ID placards for outer/tactical vest carriers? I am guessing I would need to go through the manufacture but not sure.

Just about every LE supply has them available if you want generic "POLICE" "SHERIFF" etc. My bust success for getting them the way I want them has been to go to an embroidery or screen printing place locally. Find one that prints team shirts or the like. Be careful to ask about set up or min. number to order, avoid those. I've had best luck with the "mom & pop" buisnesses. You may have to find the material yourself however as most don't have pieces of cordura lying around. Best thing is you can make the ID panel exactly right for your vest. My old TOC only had a small piece of loop (the fuzy part of velcro). I had to add more to accomdate the panel. If you still are set on a commercial one, PM me. I have the info on a PACA rep that made a nice one for one of our K9 handlers. You can also try searching google for "police id panels" or the like. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info ronin. I do want something of a custom ID panel. We have a local sports store that does the team stuff I'll have to stop in and ask.
