I have a Springfield XD 45ACP 5" Tactical that I carry on duty and for SWAT use now. I absolutely love the gun, and I've owned a lot of handguns. To me it is the perfect hybrid between a Glock and a 1911. It functions flawlessly, has extremely manageable recoil, and makes tight rapid fire groups. However, I can't seem to find a good duty holster for it. Initially I tried a Don Hume holster, but it kept coming unsnapped. The holster that I use on duty now is a Safariland 6280-149 but I don't really like it. I've found that I tend to accidentally bump the shroud and it slips down. I've tried tightening it, but it still falls. I'm more than a little concerned that my gun will fall out during a foot pursuit, fight, etc. There are so many officers using the XD's now that I can't believe it's so hard to find a good duty holster for it. If there is anyone out there that can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. :o
