Benchmade ERT-1

Does anyone have any experience with the Benchmade ERT-1? It's a specialized tool, having a hooked blade instead of standard blade, as well as a LED light and a glass breaker. Any opinion on similar tools by different manufacturers? I'm interested in this tool for car travel and for my workplace (knives aren't allowed, but being a first responder a tool like this could be indispensable). Plus, it's only $40.
