Future Agent

Hello everyone!
Like the title of my post implies, I am new to this board (this is my first post) and am in the running for a job at the DEA. I have been visiting this board for about a month before I decided to log on, and I have to say that this is an extremely helpful place. Hopefully I have something to bring to the table, too.
Anyhow, I am a twenty-seven year old single male, Navy veteran, and have a degree in Economics. I currently have no law enforcement experience--a situation that I obviously hope changes soon. I am guessing that there are...oh, I don't know, roughly a million other people who have the same, comparable, or better qualifications than myself; therefore, my philosophy since starting the DEA process has been to just relax, enjoy the process, learn from the process, be myself, and not take it too seriously. And you know what? It has actually turned out to be pretty fun! And I have met some great people.
As for my reasons for wanting to be a DEA agent...
***takes out piece of folded-up paper from inside pocket***
Ahem..."I want to be a DEA agent because I sincerely believe that drugs are a menace to society and should be eliminated. I am firmly committed to a drug-free society."
***puts paper back in pocket***
No, seriously, my reasons for wanting to become a DEA agent are twofold, really. First (and putting all humor aside), I do sincerely believe in the goal of a drug free society; and second, I honestly know, down deep in my gut, that I would be a great investigator and would enjoy the work. That's about it.
Thanks everybody! P.S.--I am especially interested in talking with people who are currently, or who hope to be, DEA special agents.
