I've seen, touched, but not shot. Hopefully Gonzo will chime in here as in another thread he mentioned that he had fired one. I LOVE the new grips and feel. I'm not a big integrated rail guy but I could live with it.
Now if I could stop feeling like a 1911 traitor :)
DM, love you 1911 guys. Haven't seen much since 1898 that you thought would last.
Hell, I recently dropped a couple of thou on a new Ed Brown Kobra Carry.

It would have been cheaper to buy an old Colt .44 SA!
I DO love my 1911's though. Somewhere over the years, a couple of Glocks and a J frame snuck in. Papi ain't too thickheaded.

The new Glock 21 SF does feel nice. For my size hand, it feels nicer than the original Glock 21. I also like the ambidextrous magazine release.

the one downside I saw being the mutant lefty I am, was that I couldn't lock the slide back/operate the slide release as easily as the old 21... What are good ways to cope with this small, yet annoying problem?
Can't help you on the slide stop aspect, but Glock advocates that you release the slide by racking it, preferably with an overhand grip.

You can also get the 21sf with the old style glock rail, as well as without the ambi mag release. :)
