I used Windows Movie Maker to import the video clip of Jim Zubiena, the "Argentine Hit-Man" on Miami Vice/Calderone returns, and I slow-mo'ed it and added in some comments.
His speed is still amazing. Watch his posture and stability as he draws and shoots. Yes, some "hollywood factor" is there, but its still a cool clip.
Please put a comment and rate the clip on Youtube. THANKS

Great episode, I DVR'd that particular episode last week on Sleuth Channel....Excellent! Was that guy really a pro, I just thought he was a well trained, well practiced stunt guy? I like the technique with the two hands, open the shirt and draw simultaneously, then on target, super quick. This scene and the armed robbery scene in Collateral, are the two best, realistic draws from concealment in movie/tv history.
Not sure I remember the one from Collateral--got a link to it by any chance? One of the few movies we don't own for whatever reason....

Good scene. One of the few bearable Tom Cruise movies in recent years.
I'm on the Govt' laptop now which is blocked from wonderful sights such as Youtube, but I'll see if I can't find a link at home and post it later. Basically Cruise gets held-up by two guys and he draws from under a jacket and hits both with a double tap and headshot, in a very short second or two. Alla the Miami Vice scene, he feigned compliance with the hands up thing and then downed the two robbers in a most rapid fashion. I actually used to practice a similar technique at the range, when I started working plainclothes, albeit a lot slower.
Here's the "yo homie" scene from Collateral that was being referred to.

Jim was a big time IPSC champ back in the day. He blew his knee in 89 during a competition and retired. Today he competes in Cowboy Action Shooting Society shoots.
This is his website.....
