Trooper killed in accident
Three-car wreck involves two alleged drunken drivers

Illinois State Police Trooper Brian McMillen was killed by a drunk driver in the early morning of October 28, 2007, while responding to an assistance call from local officers. He was 24 years old.

Trooper McMillen graduated from the academy on February 2, 2007, and was president of his cadet class. He is survived by his wife, Angela.

Trooper Brian McMillen was killed when his patrol car was involved in an accident.

He was en route to assist another law enforcement agency when his patrol car was involved in a collision with two other vehicles, just outside of Illiopolis. Both vehicles were being operated by intoxicated drivers.

Trooper McMillen had served with the Illinois State Police for eight months and is survived by his wife.
