Do you guys keep the tails on your body armor? Also how long intill your new vest is

I just got a new vest and I forgot how uncomfortable they are when new, how long intil it is broke in?

Also I see alot of guys take the tails off of there vests do you guys leave them on or cut them off? do they work? I guess they are there to help keep the vest in place. thanks

When you sit does the vest hit your belt? how much higher then you belt is it when standing? ( it has been so long since I broke a new vest in that I forgot how much I hate it) my last vest I think did but now it doesn't, I don't want to have them shorten it and then have it to short. what kind of overlap do you guys like on the sides.

I cut them off; they are absolutely worthless.

I leave the tails on but they are definitely useless! They don't stay tucked in anyway for me. I use those hidden tailors to keep everything tucked in the uniform pants, works wonders.
