Anyone out here in the process or going to be in the process for the Florida Highway Patrol. I just turned in my app last week and will probably be scheduled for the written and pat in Jan.:bounce:

Well I'm currently going threw the process to be a state trooper also, I took the written and PAT test in July, and was scheduled to take a Polygraph on sept 13 and because of the attacks my date was pushed back to the 28th of Sept. I passed my polygraph and now I'm just waiting for my Medical exam ( which the only ones are in Miami) and then my BI, I am trying to get into the certified academy in Feb, but don;t think I'll be able to make it, because I get out of the Army around Christmas time and there are no classes for the 92 hour course, so hopefully I can continue through the process and make it, beings I love to work traffic enforcement and reconstruct accidents, and this is the only place I can start out in that kind of work, unlike being with a department and then either getting selected or putting in to get transferred after two years, I wish you luck, the tests are pretty easy if you take your time on the written and bust your butt on the PAT, you'll have no prop, I'm not a PT stud, But I did the PAT in 3 min 46 sec well enough time.

Did anyone take the Fbat test recently for the FHP? I guess it is now mandatory to pass it to be in law enforcement in Florida. Just wondering what it is like. Also anyone know when the class for the last test is gonna be?
The test was Cake. I took the test on Nov 27th. 01. The test made me recall my kindergarten classwork. Matching pictures, looking at boxes and remembering what color flashed first. Email me if you really want me to get into the test. Oh and practice your North, East, West and South.

Hey I took the test on Dec 1st, and it was very easy. While we were waiting for the test adminstrators to prepare, they showed us a video of one of the recruit classes, and i tellya, those drill instructors were tough!!
