going to the USSS!!

hey everyone, i got offered a job as a special agent with the US secret service last week, i accepted and i start nov. 5th in the milwaukee, WI office. i go to beltsville for a week for orientation then off to FLETC for CITP. i am wondering if anyone else out there is going to be there with me? my FLETC start date would be around nov. 19th or so. for all those wondering, here are my stats

4 years patrol experience
BA in criminal justice 3.5 GPA
2 years SWAT
2 years DT instructor

i started the process april 2000.
got the offer october 2001.
start november 2001.
will graduate from training may 2002.

I've been wondering what happened to you. Congrats, it has been a long road for both of us. Check your P.M. inbox. See you at the 'ville.

To the rest, hang in there. I have been getting info that S/A hiring is starting to pick up again. The hiring pool is not very big so they are going to get things going again. I was told that only 5% of current S/A's have more than 5 years experience. They are supposed to be hiring at least 200 S/A this year, maybe more. I think that my class is only 24, but I'm not sure. I will keep everyone updated.
