Hello everyone, I'm not very good at introductions but here goes.
My name is Joel, I grew up here in St.louis. Not much very interresting to say here. I joined the Army infantry when I was 17, but developeed a heart problem and was discharged medically. Since then the ticker has been fixed without surgery.
I signed on with the St.louis Housing Authority as Public Safety Officer in 92 and worked there for 7 long years as a motorcycle patrolman. Then in 98 the government decided not to fund the program anymore and I found myself unemployed, but rather than do the smart thing and go into a local dept. I went for the money and became an avionics mech for an airline. On sept 20th this year, I got my walkin papers, me and several hundred other employee's. So here I am in all my laid off glory. I will be surfing this site lookin for LEO positions and so far it looks pretty promissing....
