Just wanted to post that my Huskers are now in contention for that coveted National Championship. What a game. It really wasn't anything fancy or spectacular, just a good, tough defensive game as we thought it would be. I have to say that Nebraska fans are some of the most loyal and vocal. I was sitting in the 36th row behind one of the goal posts. What an experience. Memorial stadium is an amazing place. The sea of red was an electrifying sight. Great game, although, I think we will meet the sooners again in the Big 12 championship.

not to bust your bubble, and I know you know this already, but the Huskers got smoked by the Buffalo's. WHat happened to the Huskers. I didn't have a clue that CO was going to be that good. Does nebraska usually have trouble in Boulder?

Actually, Nebraska has beat them 9 times in a row up until last Friday. Colorado usually plays them pretty tough anyway, especially up there. Well, we will just have to hope for a miracle and pray that Miami loses to VA tech and Florida loses to Tennessee. Then we have a chance!

One things for sure...."your" Huskers won't be playing the Sooners in the Bix XII Championship. That see of red was quite funny as they were bawling in Boulder on November 23rd.

Yes, Nebraska has won the last 9, but you failed to mention that they squeaked by CU the last 2 years at the very last play of the game. You also failed to mention that CU put up numbers against "your" Huskers that NOBODY has done against them in over 100 years of football.

Sorry for the cynical post.....but I am a HUGE Buffs fan, and Nebraska makes me ill. They got what they've had coming to them. Bout time.

I'm a buffs fan too, but Nebraska has established a tradition that's spanned decades. You can't compare the two football programs. I was very happy the buffs put the smackdown on Nebraska, but the Huskers will be in contention next year just like they are every year. I hope Gary Barnett can establish that tradition at CU, but it hasn't happened yet. Everybody around here calls CU vs NU a rivalry. It's not a rivalry when it's that one sided in favor of one school.

If it's a rivalry in the eyes of the players, that's all that matters....and that's exactly what it is.

I guarantee that CU is number one on Nebraskas list next year.....it will most definitely be a rivalry in their eyes too.

Of course the players want to beat Nebraska. I played college football so I know from being a player that you always want to beat the best. Next years game will have alot of excitement, but it's still not a traditional rivalry. I'm sure the boys from Nebraska will want to exact some revenge. I'm not trying to sound like a Nebraska fan because I'm most definitely not. Hopefully the Buffs will continue to spank them and we'll have a real rivalry on our hands in a few years which would be great. Hopefully the Buffs can have a little revenge of their own against UT.

Well I know I am a few days late but I was off in the woods hunting Whitetail Deer.

But all I have to say isw00t w00t !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only did they chop them Bugeaters (The real name of Nebraska before they went cornhuskers) they scored more points than any other team has ever against Nebraska.

Now if CU can hold up against Texas they should get some respect. I just hope this isn't a fluke year and they can keep up the good work
