Halloween=Ful Moon [Archive]

Ok, just heard that Halloween is a full moon, the first one since 1955 and there won't be another until 2020. That means that it's been saving up for 46 years and for those of us who are working it's going to be like the gates of hell have opened up. And lucky me is scheduled to work... AND there are only 2 of us scheduled to work instead of 3....Oh boy....

Not quite, the full moon is on Nov, 1st. However, November does have a blue moon, 2-full moons in one month.

I just heard on the radio and the news it is a full moon so apparently it's just confusing people period. In any case I have confiscated some of my daughters candy and the PSAP is eerily quiet.....for now.....

Surprisingly enough, it was REALLY quiet around here on Halloween - not only by us but also the surrounding towns.
I do know that our investigator's meeting was moved from that night to the week before, since all the investigators - including myslef as it turned out - would be working that night.
No doubt, fallout from Sept. 11.
