Well, have been using this post for a few weeks now and believe it's time to introduce myself to everyone.
I was born and raised in Bremerhaven, Germany. The German Air Force brought me here to the US in 1987. Had a 9 month training session in El Paso. Met a girl, she followed me back home and got married to her in 1990. After my discharge we decided to come back and live in Texas. Went to school at UT Austin and got my BA in Lib. Arts in 1998. During that time my ex and I split and went our own ways. After college I worked as a freelance translator in Houston for a while and found my sweetheart to whom I am married today. After a two year stint in the car business I went into the communications business and worked for AT&T, Sprint and Time Warner. I recently decided to go into law enforcement because I am tired of just having a job. I want to persue a career that'll provide personal satisfaction and the opportunity to really give back to the community. I am righteous and I can command folks around. Ha, ha just kidding. Seriously, I loved being in the services and the structure it provided. I am sure that I will enjoy LE quite a bit and hope it'll be the last profession I change into. Anyhow, I enjoy this board very much and think it's a great starting point for everyone who wants to persue a career in LE. Keep up the good work.:wave: :wave:
