Any opinions on Kahr's line of pistols, especially the new Polymer P9?

I haven't shot their polymers, but Kahr makes a great gun. I carry a K40 off-duty and love it. The only downside of the K40 and K9, which I think the P9 addresses, is that they are all metal weapons and pretty heavy for single stack pistols. Nice and concealable, with a GREAT DAO trigger pull.

Thanks for the response. I know this new Kahr P9 is getting rave reviews all across the gun community. It supposedly only weighs in at about 17oz. when fully loaded. I was hoping to find someone who utilizes a Kahr (and preferably the P9) as a duty back-up.

I own both a k9 and a p9, love em both. The K9 is smoother shooting, but the p9 is perfect for a carry gun.... just my thoughts

Having dealt with them personally, (long story)I have a difficult time buying a gun from a company owned by the Moonies, the owner of the company is the son of Rev. Moon. For a "religious" group, they seem to love thier weapons. I had a dealing with thier "Security Force"once. I do know some of my conter-parts swear by the Kahr.

Stay safe:D
