Off-Duty Holsters. [Archive]

Just wondering what you all carry off-duty, and what you might recommend to a "rookie"?

I have a Glock 27- .40 cal in a kydex paddle holster.. any thoughts?

How do you like your G27? What brand of Kydex paddle holster are you using? I am looking into that same combo, and am trying to assess the pros and cons.

Great combo. I'm using Blade-Tech Kydex. I've had my 27 for several years and its great. Last year I added LaserMax and I'm very pleased with the laser applications in low light. I can't think of anything else I'd want. (Although I AM thinking of a 36!)

I carry a Glock 26 in a Blade Tech UCH which allows the shirt to be tucked in over the holster and gun. That way you do not have to wear a cover garment. I also carry my handcuffs on the opposit side from my gun any time I carry off duty. Good luck and be safe.
