Got My "Final Call!"

I got the call!!!

It was V. Danvers, notifying me that everything was clear, and if I was still interested, she had an office location and academy date for me.

Of course, (enter screaming away from the phone), I told her I would happily accept.

I am heading to the SAIC/Chicago, IL. This is also where I interviewed at in Mid October.

I have a January FLETC date.

I didn't ask her anything else on the side of class size or frequency, sorry.

Yeah, I am pretty excited to have this as my Christmas gift- Early.

The application was for an 1811 Criminal Investigator/Special Agent with the US Customs Service.

As one who moved from the Twin Cities to Chicago myself in recent months, you will not have much of a culture shock at your new duty station (except perhaps a better football team). The contractor was supposed to get them something in writing today and maybe, just maybe, I'll get the call soon.
