I once worked for a Uninversity Police Dept. I worked very hard, but my Chief and I did not like each other. My Chief made it a personal task to get rid of what he considered non-police persons. I made the mistake of filling a complaint against him and the worst mistake of winning. Finally after fighting several assualts on my integrity, I resigned. I thought my career in Law Enforcement was over. After trying in other Departments ad getting rejected after they spoke to my ex-Chief, I resolved to give up my dream of Police work. After some time I applied for a highly sensitive police position with the US Goverment, After they reviewed my application they did the one thing no-one else had done. They asked for proof, the Department could only give accusations. The Feds hired me and I have been working for almost 4 years, getting outstanding ratings each year. The moral is, never give up the dream if you are right. Stay safe all, and good luck.
