Curious about Broward Sheriff and Miami-Dade

Anyone know how their moral is these days? How's the pay? Are they hiring? Anyone working for them, what life on the job like?

yes they are hiring it takes a while to get on with them. several thing to do you have to swim and tread water for 10 mins. and they start about 33,600.00 a year :) :) :D :D

I have two cousins who work for Miami-Dade (Metro-Dade). One has been there 21 years - she obviously likes her job a lot.

The other cousin worked as a civilian for 6 yrs before she got in. Had a lot to do with her driving record. But now she's in the academy. Their academy is for 6 months. Considering the territory, 6 mnths probably isn't enough!
