Dooly County Sheriffs Department

I was wondering if anyone knows if the Dooly County Sheriffs office has a website for their department? I am having no luck finding one for them. Also what do you guys think about the department if you have heard anything particular about them? Thanks for any response back that I may get...

Dooley is one of those places that has taken the science of drug interdiction and turned it into pure art. They are really good at it. The interdiction team is very selective, but they get the best cars and equipment. That area along 75 is called The Guantlet.

My agency had 6 agents out one night on a solid tip that 3 bad guys would be returning with a load from Miami. We had everything we needed, exact names, veh description, and times for return. The only thing we didn't have was enough prior notice. Consequently, Dooley SO picked them off in The Guantlett and spoiled our surprise for them. Oh well, at least they got popped.

FYI: Anyone interested in living in that area of GA and is looking for a start in LE, should consider the numerous Drug TF's sponsored by GBI. The Agents are employed by the TF, not the GBI, and the pay is not exceptional, but there is OT, take home U/C Veh, and plenty of Electronic toys. The GBI Supervisors usually have complete hiring authority, and often times, those agents usually move onto a regular position with GBI as Special Agent.
