Is anyone out there from Garland, TX? My best friend from high school was a police officer there. He was killed trying to stop a bank robbery in February 1997. I'd like to talk to anyhone who might have known him. His name was David Moore and he was a 10 year vet of the force ther after serving in the Marines. I'd also like to know what became of the gunman who killed him. David and I were best buddies growing up and now I am following in some of his footsteps and trying to get on a force. Thanks!

DIDN'T KNOW HIM PERSONALLY, MY BEST FRIEND IS AN OFFICER IN GARLAND. THE MAN THAT SHOT HIM AT THE BANK ONE ON CENTERVILLE ROAD WAS SENTENCED TO DEATH. I AM NOT SURE WHAT THE EXECUTION DATE IS, BUT I WILL GET WITH HIM. HIS BACKUP THAT DAY WAS OFCR GREG WRIGHT (SUPER GUY ADN OFFICER) AND HE ALWAYS SPOKE HIGHLY OF "MADDOG"
I'LL SEE WHAT ADDITIONAL INFO I CAN GET AND GET BACK TO YOU. THE COURT CASE WAS HORRIBLY SAD AND THE MAN THAT SHOT HIM SHOWED NO REMORSE AND CAUSED A SLIGHT SCUFFLE BETWEEN SOME OFFICERS BY ACTING THE WAY HE DID.
