I was just watching NBC news with Tom Brokaw and they reported that a judge threw out Mumia's death sentence and says that he has to get a new sentencing trial.

Folks, I don't know about you, but what in the hell is going on here? WHY would a judge through out a death sentence?

I've got to say that I'm a little more than P*ssed off about this one.

I suppose as long as this thug murderer sits in jail the rest of his life, that will be fine enough. A life sentence in jail has to be near like being sentenced to Hell.

OKay, I got the scoop from my calibre press email.

The judge cited errors in the sentencing phase of the trial.
They also said, " [the judge] cited problems with the jury charge and verdict form in the trial, and ruled that the jury should have been able to consider mitigating circumstances during sentencing."

The article also said that the state of Pennsylvania must have a new hearing within 180 days or sentence jamal to life in prison.

I'm just curious, but I would be curious in finding out how much influence supporters of mr. x had to do with this.

Maybe now that he isn't going to get the government-funded death that he deserves, some college will invite him to speak at their commencement. Oh wait...that already happened. One word...ASSHOLE!

isnt this the same guy that had a rock concert benefit to raise money and awareness for his "cause"??? if it is this guy is a total slimeball and the band was a group of dirtbag rockers named, rage against the machine.
