Just checked my answering machine back home and got a message offering me a Criminal Investigator position with USCS. She said to call her back to get my location and academy date. I will let everyone know when and where I will be going. Also, for anyone waiting for USCS to get a previously completed BI I was in the same boat. I guess they finally got my BI from DEA, I was never contacted for any type of update either.

I'm not sure when she called, I don't have a very fancy answering machine. My wife and I left I left for my parents house on Thursday and checked my messages today. I called the number she gave and left a message.

Congrats there KA. So far I know that K9 Cop and I are in the Feb 10th class. I think some calls were also recently made for the Jan 22nd class. I imagine that some folks declined their Jan slots, so this explains the late additions to Jan.

I'm headed to Orlando, and K9 is going to Charlotte (like he doesn't live there ALREADY!!)

Do you know people that have been able to put off their EOD date with USCS? I don't know if you know my situation, but I'm in flight school with the Army National Guard and should graduate towards the middle of February. I've been at Fort Rucker for over a year and have been here too long to quit now. I sure hope my EOD date is after I graduate. I talked with Customs several months ago about being on active duty for training, and they said they would work with me with regards to my situation. We will see what happens. Thanks.

Yeah, when they make you the offer, they ask if you CAN attend school for a certain date. I too am back on AD ISO WTC/PENT attacks. I have told them I can report for Feb 10th, but should my reserve unit balk at REFRAD then, I'm going to have to call and get rescheduled. I think I've read posts from someone else that was in similar situation, and accepted the position, but got slotted for a much later CITP/CBES.

By the way, clean out your PM box. Tried to send you a detailed PM on some issues.
