What, if anything, does your center traditionally do for the holidays? Are there any organized niceties, changes in procedure, etc?

We have decorations we set up every year. Our Director even got us a Fiber Optic Christmas tree this year. And of course the best part of it all is that we are the recipients of piles upon piles of food from citizens, our police departments, fire departments, our towing agencies, and many more. Good Stuff!! Suffice to say we never go hungry around the holidays. :)

We have a tree set up in comms. Don't really exchange any presents. They allow civilian clothing (t-shirts & jeans). Also the Reserve Association puts on a lunch/dinner for each shift. Our bail commisioner runs a cafe and he caters it for us. Meatballs, coldcut plater, salad, rolls, various premade sandwiches, roast beef, mac & potatoe salad and a few other things. Thats about it for anything different for the holiday.

PS: I AM OFF :bounce:

Ahhh... Forgot to mention the civilian clothes on Christmas.

And I was off the night of the 23rd and 24th so I also had Christmas off! Wahoo!
