Florida State Corrections & County

I am an CO and I am considering possibly moving to Florida in about six months. Can anyone who is a Florida State CO or County Detention Deputy tell me about their agency and the pros and cons (no pun intended) for working for them. I am talking in terms of promotion, pay, opportunity and benefits.

I'd appreciate a Florida CO's view greatly.
