Finally spoke with Mrs. Danvers and was told I will be in the March 11th class and my duty location will be Detroit (where I interviewed at)....not really my first pick but trust me, I don't care at this point, I am just happy to have the job!

I know some others on here will be in the March 11th class and I am looking foward to meeting all you guys down there!

Gotta' go make some phone calls!!! See ya' at FLETC!!!!!

rough timeline:

2/01-scantron
3/01-TEA
4/01-received notice passed TEA
9/01-received conditional offer, refrences checked
10/01-had medical, drug test, structure interview, and my background was started toward end of the month
11/01-background complete, medical, SI, and BI all cleared
1/22/02-FINAL OFFER

Congratulations eggy! I never did get a chance to meet you down at the border (reference our conversation a few months ago), but with me going to ATF in Flint we might get a chance to work together sometime. The Customs agents in Detroit do some work in Flint and Port Huron once in a while, which is in my area. So remember, if you're up in the thumb area (Saginaw, Bay City, Port Huron, Flint) and want some helping kicking a door, call me up!!!! In fact, even if you don't need help, call me anyway. I'll PM you with some contact info. I don't know when I'm going to FLETC yet, but there's a good chance I'll see you down there. You'll be working with a pretty good group of guys here in Detroit. Congrats again!
