Looking for any fed/state/local agencies that accept recruits with monocular vision

Ok, I know this is a very long shot but after much research and not finding anything encouraging I figured Id ask here:
Im looking for any federal, state or local le agencies that would accept a recruit who has lost an eye (the left)?
Thanks for any replies in advance.

For federal LEO positions, loss of an eye would disqualify you from meeting entry level standards. I am personally aware of some 1811's that have lost an eye as a direct result of LE duties and have been retained by their agencies. Their scope of duties have been somewhat modified, but they are allowed to remain on board. I believe that's the right thing to do.

There are many other support function in federal LE that can be very rewarding. DEA has 1810 positions, investigating/regulating the pharmacy industry. Also, many agencies have Intelligence Analyst positions (132) that work closely with enforcement groups and really do some great work. I'd recommend you take a look at these type of positions.

    Good luck!

Ah excellent idea, I'd. looked at the atf and fbi mainly as the fed agencies and had completely missed the dea, thanks for the suggestion.

Both FBI and DHS have 132 positions as well. Cast a broad net!

Ah grand, I'll have a look at those series too, thanks
So that seems like the federal levels are well covered, are there any similar positions in the state/county levels?
