Airports no plygraph?
As I look at various Pd I notice that most of the hiring process is the same everywhere.... except airports. I have noticed that many of the airport PD lack a polygraph
. Why?

Generally non traditional policing agencies have a tougher time getting applicants and do not want to spend the money on polygraphing or using the CVSA. That does not mean they are not lax or as hard to get onto but sometimes these agencies are smaller and do not have the resources budgeted to use these types of machines.

Some places may not have the budget to use them, some may not be allowed to use them.
My agency uses it as do the other agencies in the state."Nothing worth having comes without some kind of fight."

To my knowledge, most agencies in the state of Minnesota do not use a polygraph. Their philosophy is that since they're not admissable in court, they're worthless in hiring processes.

Does anyone know if Ohio uses the Polygraph or not by chance?
