Thread: Denver written and video test

Hello. Is there anyone out there that is familiar with the Denver video test? Today I took the written and video test. I past the written and I don't think I did very well on the video portion. I only scored a 57.8. I really don't understand how that is graded. All of the questions were based off of senerios and then was asked "what would I do?" I never chose the aggresive action answer. Is that what they were looking for? Are my chances of moving on with further testing gone? Please help. Any advice would be helpful.

There is a very specific way to answer those questions. You have to think how they want you to. Denver FD has a similar test. I know a guy who has been a FF for 5 years, has all of his certs, and can't pass it to save his life. There is a right/wrong answer. It can normally be narrowed down to two choices but it's a tough decision then. Good Luck, they're on a hiring spree.
