Thread: ? how involved is nypd background

Will i be dq if a family member was hospitalized for depression although it had nothing to do with me at all. I have an uncle who is a local leo and told me that it may effect me getting hire. I hope not for i have put much schooling and trianing into becoming a leo. If anyone has any idea please let me know.

Also i have been reading different posts and have heard bloomberg is cutting city agencies. Does anyone know if environmental police officers will feel this cut as well? Please let me know.
