Thread: Any Info IEA ,since funding

Anyone hear of any new hires for IEA since the funding? Im all clear and waiting. Have heard of the guys already in going to complete their IEA classes..

I just got a med update for IEA today.

Funny so did I.. So are you just sending it to the address it came from? They are really do not tell you who to address it to.

Sounds like hiring will resume again very soon from what we are hearing at the field offices.
If all goes well our budget should be passed very soon.
As I hear more info I will pass it on to everyone

Actually I looked out when I got hired in Nov 2003.
I went through the first all IEA class and had most of the new ICE training.
Our senior guys are just starting to go back next for ETP.
So new hires should be around the corner

The ETP class for IEA upgrade are starting again right quick. First one is scheduled to start 5/17/05 and next on is 6/1/05. ICE is also planning on a Deporation Officer Transition Training Class (where IEA selected for DO will learn the larger duties of a DO) 8/1/05.
