Thread: DEA PT Test

has anyone had any trouble getting scheduled for their pkysical exam. I was supposed to take it MArch 15, but it was never confirmed. i called the DEA Recr in Chicago and he told me that my medical papers have not been cleared. he said that i was not the only one, and that most of the people are experiencing the same thing. i know the fed process is designed to frustrate you, but i am beginning to worry that my paper work might be lost

any advise

how long did it take from the time of your panel to get your medical paperwork? When do you get the paperwork?

I had the same problem. My PTT was rescheduled twice before the medical papers cleared.

I got the name of the person who ran the PT tests in VA and talked to him directly. I got through that part very fast. So, I would call up the office and ask the secretary for the name of the person running the PTT.

thanks Boy, that is good advise, i will call and get the name of the person running the PTT. i was panelled in jan, med in feb, and was scheduled to take the PTT on march 15. (timeline)

I took the written assessment and the panel on Monday. I was told I passed the panel. I was then given my medical papers and fingerprinted that day.
