    FDA Criminal Investigator

I see that there are 2 postings on USAJOBS -- 1 is for GS-11/12 and the other is for GS-13. The promotion potential for the GS-11/12 spot only shows a '12'. The '13' shows the '13'. The qualification for the '13' spot shows the normal '52 weeks as a 12'.

Does anyone know if the promotion potential for the GS-11/12 is incorrect and that it should be a '13' ? or is the FDA not automatic promotion to a '13', although the posting for the actual '13' spot does not indicate so as the only requirement is the '52 weeks as a 12' ?

Not automatic to GS-13. Not necessarily competitive.

    Any Intel on Actual Locations?

Anyone with some inside info know where they are planning on staffing these positions? Is the mobility agreement ever used for forced moves?

I called last week and was told after they find candidates they want they will try to arrange a duty station. She directed me to there website for a list of field offices.

Any FDA OCI agents on here who would have any information on the most recent announcement? How many agents will they anticipate bringing onboard...etc? Thanks.

Announcement read that this opening would be wrapped up in 6 weeks. LOL. Not that the government ever completes anything on time. Anyone try calling the HR contact?

Just spoke to someone at HR. Not very informative. She stated the announcement is still pending and no notices have gone out. She didn't give any time frame either.

Negative. I got a feeling that they're being very selective as usual, hence the wait.
