Thread: ICE 1811 2009 Applicants....

had my special agent battery exam today in seattle, wa. It was suprisingly easy. goodluck to everyone else that took it.

Heard yesterday from a very reliable source (no not a CI) that ICE plans to hire 280 1811s during fiscal year 2010. Most are expected to go to the southwest border, LA, New York and Miami.

I took mine with 163 other souls in Miami...a good mix of people from a lot of different backgrounds. There seemed to be a decent number of existing CBP officers there too.

6 weeks and counting until we get the news.... best of luck to everyone in the hunt.

i filled out my original SF86 when I sent back my packet before my TO, but dont know, just had to fill out another sheet. Just got the email from the nice lady and followed instructions and returned it. As usual, back to the waiting game and hoping for that TO..

At FLETC ....this is my first post. I have to say i have been following this thread for years and have received a bunch of information from this forum and have wanted to say hello. I tested in Sept 07 and have been here for 5 weeks now. Ruby Rod is in my class. Its pretty funny to meet people here that you knew from this forum. Anyways, good luck to everybody....RESPECT.

Hi all, it's really great to see the amount of classes that are here and heading into ICESAT in a few months... 2 June, 2 July, 1 August.. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you who follow the forum! I wish you all the best of luck!

Philly's class is graduating in a few weeks, I want to wish all of them the best of luck in their new careers!

anyone else see over on officer forums that people are saying 10,000 people registered to take the test on June 22? I thought the first 1000 were registering then they were shutting it down? You would think that they would want to avoid another situation like they had in 08

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on the structure and panel interview for ICE CI. Is there any particular book I can order that will help me prepare for the interview?

been discussed lots. there is no book. know yourself and know the agency. good luck
