Backup or for concealed carry
Anyone carry a little .380 or small 9mm on them off-duty or as a backup weapon? I just got a little Ruger LCP .380 and I have to say I'm pretty impressed, so far. I carry it in a pocket holster and it's very discreet in jeans or khacki pants. Anyone else have something they carry in their pocket that they like?

"Why yes, that's a S&W 537 in my pocket. But I'm also happy to see you." Yes, it's a revolver, but prints only slightly more than a semi.
When it's not a Chief's Special, it's a Kel-tec. Yeah, it's ghetto. It's also reliable as hell after some judicious polishing of rough/milled spots. I'd caution against counting on one until you can get 100-200 failure-free rounds through it, but I'd say the same about any pocket gun.Last edited by DennisNJ; 04-22-2012 at 15:30.

I carry the LCP 380 and I love it!
Short steps, far view, bad intentions!!!

I've got a Sig P238 .380 I've been using for about a year now and absolutely love it!! It's small, compact, and I've yet to have a failure after putting about 500 rounds through it. A huge selling point for me... my wife actually likes to shoot it too since it's smooth and doesn't have as much recoil as her .32 Tomcat.
