Blackhawk CQC vs. CQC Serpa...
I've been searching the threads and reading up on the likes and dislikes of the CQC holsters from Blackhawk. Is anyone using the CQC without the Serpa index finger release? Does the firearm still "click" in? I'm guessing the CQC retention is adjustable by tightening a screw on the side? A co-worker had problems with the Serpa when debris became lodged behind the finger release causing the release to malfunction which locked the gun in the holster. Due to this, I'm looking more towards the CQC without the index release.

I use the Serpa holster with the index release. Haven't had any problems yet. Very fast draw, too.

I agree. I have used the Serpa for over three years and have no issues at all with the holster. I recomend it. However, if you were in a southwest enviroment then it might be a good idea to use an air hose on it at least once a month..just to be safe.---

And couldn't find it anywhere.
