Leather concealment holster for G-27?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Looking for a leather concealment holster, to be worn on my belt, for my Glock 27.
I bought a IWB Holster, allowing the shirt to be tucked in, however it was readily apparent how non-tactical this was, not allowing for a quick draw. Also the Kydex plastic was unconfortable on my body.
I wear untucked Polo shirts or Hawaiin shirts 90% of the time.
The below links show some holsters that appeal to me....anyone have any recommendations please advise
Thanks!Last edited by ATF SAC; 08-04-2005 at 17:37. Reason: remove commercial links

I have a leather Galco, open top forward rake scabbard for my Glock 27.
I 've had this holster for several years and I relly like it... maybe you should give it a try.
It is also made with a thumb-break if you prefer the additional retention."Anybody worth shooting, is worth shooting more than once."

I recommend taking a look at the OWB holsters offered by Rafter S Gunleather and Lou Alessi. There are others out there. None appreciatively better.
Rafter S was known for supplying Wilson Combat for years. Good enough for them equals good enough for most.
Lou Alessi is... well, he's Lou Alessi. A top tier maker by anyone's standards.
Both can put you in superior leather for reasonable price points.

I just checked the Rafter S site. There cowhide belt scabbards are arguably the price price point going. For that matter, so are their sharkskin, osteritch, elephant, and alligatory offerings. Custom quality for less (than the mass production shops).
I swear by there belts, by the way.

And "no," my last name isn't Rafter. ;-)
